Rates and responsibilities: Our 2027-2031 rates

New sewer and stormwater rates take effect January 1, 2027
Trustees adopted a 2027-2031 sewer and stormwater rate schedule at their July 16 public board meeting. The resources here help connect you with our rates and responsibilities, our plans for the next five years, and the work we do together to keep your rates as low as possible while moving our clean-water mission forward.

Typical bill 2026-2031
Over the five years of our 2027-2031 rate schedule, most average customer’s bill will increase less than $3 a month year over year. Here’s a look at a typical customer’s monthly bill.

Ways to save
We offer five cost-saving programs to help when you need it most, including crisis assistance, rate reduction, and a summer sprinkling program. Check your eligibility and apply online.

1 bill, 2 programs
Did you know? Most customers’ bills pay for two services: Wastewater treatment (a fixed fee plus charges based on your water consumption), and regional stormwater management (a fixed tier charge based on the square footage of impervious surface on your property). This 2-minute video covers what you need to know.

Board meetings
Our board meetings are part of an important public process and guests are welcome. Trustees typically meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month. See the schedule and download agendas.
