Good Neighbor Ambassadors & Job Training Program
Our Good Neighbor Ambassador Program is designed to better connect customers with our work while promoting career and development opportunities to unemployed and underemployed residents of our region.
For more than 10 years, the GNA program has helped serve individuals and communities with the support they needed, and now in 2025, we are expanding the initiative as the Good Neighbor Ambassador & Job Training Program to further its impact and opportunities for years to come.
HIRING EVENT COMING JANUARY 15!
We will host a Good Neighbor Ambassador & Job Training Program hiring event January 15, 2025 at 3900 Euclid Avenue from 12:30 until 5:00 p.m. Save the date and reserve your seat!
The GNA role and three-year training program are a full-time commitment that features work in the community, in the office, and in the classroom, a combination Ambassadors with experience and interaction in all aspects of our service and support:
- Cross-departmental support
- On-the-job training
- Job readiness assessments
- Job site tours
- Networking opportunities and guest speakers
- Labor, learning, and listening opportunities
- Interview preparation, presenting, and public speaking
- Sewer District-specific training
