OCTOBER 2009

| Back to environotes home Clean-water work to be featured at Great Lakes Science Center exhibit On Saturday, November 14, an engaging and thought-provoking exhibition will open at Cleveland's Great Lakes Science Center (GLSC).
Posted October 30, 2009 :: Water: H2O = Life invites visitors to explore the many ways water impacts life on Earth, the ways that people have put water to use throughout history, and how it is used today in our everyday lives.
The exhibit also describes the many challenges related to humanity's sustainable management and use of this life-giving--but finite--resource.
The Sewer District is a key sponsor for the exhibition in Cleveland. (The show is also being presented in Chicago, San Diego, São Paulo, and Toronto, among other cities.)
In addition, the District is serving as a creative collaborator with GLSC in designing and creating numerous displays that explain various aspects of the District's clean water work. "Given our role in protecting Lake Erie and the region's water resources, it made sense to support and be a part of this fascinating exhibition," said District Executive Director Julius Ciaccia.
Installations describing the urban water cycle, wastewater treatment, stream restoration, and stormwater, are among the District's contributions to the Water: H2O = Life exhibition.
Both the Museum and Sewer District invite you to visit the exhibition and re-discover water in a whole new way.
